Residents Help The School Children

Saunders County has a weekly backpack program in which they provide grocery sacks of food to be sent home for families in need for weekend meals.  South Haven residents volunteered for two weeks in a row to be responsible for filling the sacks and delivering them to the Wahoo schools.  Residents made an assembly line and helped fill 87 bags for distribution.  Our residents also went along and helped unpack the bags once we delivered them to the schools.  The residents stated that being able to give back to their community made them feel like a “normal person” again!   A terrific way to promote a Quality Reputation!
