Fable Festival Presented by South Haven
Definition of a Fable – Noun – a short story, typically with animals as characters, conveying a moral. Synonyms: moral tale, tale, parable, allegory. Our local 3rd grade readers have been visiting monthly to read to our residents, which we all love! As a thank you to them, our Reliance Neighborhood hosted a Fable Festival. Each neighborhood acted out a story, complete with costumes, for the students and our residents. After each performance the students were asked what the moral of the story was. It was hard to tell who enjoyed it more the students or the residents!
